We want you to be completely satisfied with your monthlysites website. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.
30-Day Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date your website goes live. If you are not satisfied with your website within this period, contact us at hello@monthlysites.ca and we will process a refund of your setup fee and any monthly fees paid, minus the cost of your domain registration and any Stripe payment processing fees which are non-refundable.
Domain Registration Fee
Domain registration fees are non-refundable as they are paid directly to the domain registrar upon purchase. This fee is typically $15 to $25 CAD depending on the domain extension. Your domain remains registered in your name and will be transferred to you upon request regardless of any refund.
Payment Processing Fees
Stripe, our payment processor, retains their transaction fee on all refunds. This means the refunded amount you receive may be slightly less than the original charge due to Stripe's non-refundable processing fee of approximately 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. This is outside of our control.
After 30 Days
Refunds are not available after the 30-day period has passed. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. You may cancel your subscription at any time and your site will remain live until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your monthlysites subscription at any time with no penalties or cancellation fees. To cancel, contact us at hello@monthlysites.ca. Your website will remain live until the end of your current billing period, after which it will be taken offline.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@monthlysites.ca within 30 days of your site going live. Include your business name and the reason for your request. We will respond within 2 business days and process any approved refund within 5 to 10 business days.
